THE HISTORY OF RODALINK


Introduced back in year 2003 as retail center for LeRun Industries Sdn Bhd distribution after an acquisition from Rodalink Group, Rodalink was first launched in Bangsar, the one stop center for basic bicycles & accessories providers for house hold around the area had since grow to be one of the more pro cross country mountain bikes & folding bikes service center today with it's passionate crews. It's also the outlet that are frequently visited by touring cyclist from all across the world that pass by Kuala Lumpur.

A second outlet was then converted at the township of Desa Sri Hartamas back in 2008, beside iconic Mont Kiara reserve forest trail, a constant stop by service center for trail riding enthusiast. Although it's located beside the famous off road turf in the heart of Malaysia capital, Rodalink Desa Sri Hartamas is a recognized outlet for it's classy racing bikes & high performance racing bike equipment. It is also the very first Shimano service center being developed in Malaysia back in year 2013, one of the very first Shimano Di2 electronic components trouble shooting center & also one of the three location that provide Shimano shoes/insoles custom fit service in the entire Malaysia.

2010 was the year a bold & challenging step was taken, where Rodalink Bandar Botanic Klang & Rodalink Putrajaya was launched in the span of 6 months. With the luxury of floor space, Rodalink Bandar Botanic in Klang is the largest Rodalink outlet in Malaysia which held a larger range of bicycles. It is also the outlet where iconic folding bike brand Tern was launched back in 2012, Rodlink Bandar Botanic is the flagship one stop shopping center for household around Klang.

Rodalink Putrajaya is known for it's racing bikes & performance components while generally catering bicycles & accessories to house hold needs in the area. In year 2013, a dedicated Colnago corner was setup with some iconic Italian frames being showed in a Rodalink outlet for the very first time along side it's Desa Sri Hartamas counter part. It is also one of the very first outlet to provide fi'zi:k insole custom fit in Malaysia.

Converted in late 2013, Rodalink Kuching represent the first Rodalink flagship store for East Malaysia, lead by experienced ex-Rodalink Singapore head of store & a dedicated beyond comparison partner, Rodalink Kuching is a store dedicated to support & fulfill local cycling scene by supplying bicycles & accessories needs. Also due to deep rooted background on handling performance racing bikes & equipment, Rodalink Kuching does cater to the need of weekend rider as well as hardcore racer not just on bikes & equipment but also on fitting services as well as training ride, frequently spotted on riding events all across Malaysia like century rides & triathlons alike. A famous Colnago flagship store, it is also one of the three places in Malaysia where Shimano shoes/insoles custom fit service is available as well as being one of the specialist outlets in trouble shooting Shimano Di2 electronic components.

In the late of 2018, Rodalink Elmina launched and is the #6 outlets located at Denai Alam where the township within the Shah Alam city center adjacent to Taman Bukit Subang, beside City of Elmina and alongside the ‘well-known favorable cycling route’ Guthrie Corridor Expressway. 

In July 2019, Rodalink Penang officially open at Penang and the only one in the north of Peninsular Malaysia.

With a range of bicycles & accessories available at the 6 Rodalink outlets in Malaysia, from the racy & performance oriented brands like Colnago, Marin, Shimano, PRO, Kabuto, Fulcrum, fi'zi:k, Elite, KORE & Schwalbe to household general needs like LeRun, Tern, Topeak, Selle Royal, Polisport & Finish Line, Rodalink aims to provide a more complete shopping experience for bicycle needs & wants in Malaysia. However with a limitation of store location, Rodalink went virtual on mid 2014 to reach out to more riders who either prefer to shop online or have difficulty getting products they want from our stores or dealer network.
